The drinks shelf a Turkish household actually runs through

In a UK kitchen this category does the quiet daily work. It covers the tea that goes on the stove first thing, the coffee brought out when someone drops in, the ayran that sits beside a plate of pide, and the fizzy bottles that get carried to a picnic in the park. With over 220 products across hot and cold drinks, it is built for the weekly shop rather than the occasional treat, which is why pack sizes run from single 200ml bottles up to kilo bags of loose leaf tea.

Hot Drinks and Cold Drinks in one basket

The Hot Drinks side is led by Caykur and Dogadan for tea, with Mevlana 1000gr Goran Tea Ceylon Pure Leaf Tea for households that get through a demlik a day, and Kurukahveci 100gr Mehmet Efendi Turkish Coffee for the cezve. Cold Drinks is where the mineral water sits: Beypazari 200ml Mineral Water plain, or the lemon, apple and strawberry versions, alongside Sarikiz Sparkling Natural Water 250ml. For gazoz there is Uludag 250ml Fruit Soda and the orange flavoured bottle, plus Camlica 200ml Plain Flavoured Soft Drink for anyone who grew up on that particular taste. Yayla 250ml Ayran completes the table. Prices start from under £1, so it is easy to try a flavour before buying a case.

Brewing, chilling and keeping the fizz

Loose leaf Turkish tea wants a double pot, a heaped spoon per person plus one for the pot, and ten minutes of steeping before you dilute to taste with hot water from the top kettle. Store the bag or tin sealed and away from spices, since tea leaves pick up smells quickly. Turkish coffee is best bought in small tins and used within a few weeks of opening for aroma. Mineral water and gazoz keep at room temperature and only need chilling before serving, while ayran must stay refrigerated and is best drunk well within its date. Glass bottles travel well but are heavy, so mixing a case of drinks with lighter dry goods keeps a basket sensible.

We deliver UK-wide with DHL Express, usually within 1-2 business days. Orders of £60 or more go free to London and mainland UK, and below that a flat £5.99 applies. Chilled items such as ayran travel with ice-gel packs, and your DHL tracking number is emailed on dispatch.

Beverages — frequently asked questions

When is the cut-off for same day dispatch?›

Orders placed before 12:00 Monday to Friday are typically dispatched the same day. Anything after that, or over a weekend, goes out on the next working day. Once the parcel leaves us DHL Express usually delivers within 1-2 business days anywhere on the UK mainland.

Can I return drinks if I change my mind?›

Unopened non-perishable items such as sealed tea, coffee, bottled water and gazoz can be returned under our returns policy. Perishable and chilled goods, including ayran, cannot be returned once they have left us, because we cannot verify how they have been stored.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland and the Scottish islands?›

Yes. Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Isle of Wight and other UK islands are charged on a weight basis, so the free delivery threshold does not apply there. Drinks are heavy, so the cost for those addresses depends on the size of the case you order.

What happens if a bottle arrives damaged?›

Email or message us with your order number and a photo of the parcel and the affected bottle. Glass is packed carefully but knocks do happen in transit. We will arrange a replacement or refund for the damaged item once we have seen the photo.
