Popular Classic Turkish Table Games delivered to Watford
Wooden backgammon, okey tiles and playing cards for Watford homes
A walnut backgammon board on the coffee table, a set of okey tiles brought out after dinner, or a classic pack of playing cards for the family: these are the small objects that turn an ordinary evening into a proper get-together. Our classic Turkish table games range brings these familiar pieces to households across Watford and the surrounding WD postcode area.
Range and materials on offer
The line-up covers seven items, all focused on craftsmanship rather than mass production. Highlights include the Eser Turkish Wood Okey set, a Walnut Backgammon board finished in Grade A wood, a Wooden Antique Backgammon Set with an aged look, and an Original Mother of Pearl Backgammon Set with inlaid detailing. For simpler evenings there is also a pack of Waddingtons Number 1 Playing Cards alongside the Star Ancient Backgammon and Star Klasik design set.
Delivery from Watford to nearby towns
Orders from Watford, WD, are sent by DHL Express and typically arrive within 1-2 business days, with the same free-delivery threshold of £60 that applies across mainland UK; below that a flat £5.99 charge applies. We also deliver to nearby areas including Slough and destinations across London, so a gift for family further afield is straightforward to arrange.
How these sets are used at home
Backgammon and okey remain two of the most played games in Turkish households, often brought out when relatives visit or during long weekend afternoons. A well-made wooden board tends to become a fixture rather than a passing purchase, kept out on a shelf or side table between games and passed down within families over the years.
- Mother of pearl sets are chosen mainly as decorative and gift pieces
- Walnut boards are valued for their weight and durability during regular play
- Okey tile sets suit larger family groups of four players
