Beypazarı leads with plain, lemon, strawberry, apple and vitamin C mineral waters in 200ml bottles, joined by Sarıkız's naturally sparkling water and Uludağ's own still mineral water. For soda, Uludağ's fruit and orange-flavoured gazoz and Çamlıca's plain-flavoured soft drink are the familiar names at any Turkish table. Yayla's ayran adds the savoury yoghurt drink side of the shelf, and Turnib's fermented turnip juice, both mild and hot, rounds out the more acquired tastes.

Choosing, storing and serving

Beypazarı's flavoured mineral waters are a good introduction if you have never tried them, being lighter and less sweet than a standard soft drink.
