Chilled items & warm-weather notice

We ship chilled (perishable) foods with ice-gel packs, kept refrigerated. In warm weather, light oil sweating on cured products such as sucuk/pastırma, or softening of cheese, is normal and not a sign of spoilage — it returns to normal once chilled. Please refrigerate items immediately on delivery and be available to receive your order on the delivery day.

Description

ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Health Nutrition has followed the belief since 1968 that nutrition plays a key role in supporting the health and well-being of cats and dogs, which is why ROYAL CANIN® veterinary diets are designed around proven nutritional science in partnership with pet professionals and experts to deliver targeted nutrition for pets with specific health needs. Diabetes mellitus occurs when the body either fails to produce insulin or no longer responds properly to it. In cats, this condition may develop due to factors such as excess weight and obesity. ROYAL CANIN® Diabetic dry cat food is specifically formulated for adult cats with diabetes mellitus. It is suitable for cats with a body condition score of 6 out of 9 or below, as well as those with a score of 7 out of 9 or higher, until glycaemic control has been achieved. As part of the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Health Nutrition range, this diet should only be fed when recommended by a veterinary professional, and for palatability, it can be complemented with Royal Canin Diabetic Thin Slices in Gravy. Any dietary transition should be gradual over 7–10 days, with careful attention to correct rationing, especially when mixed feeding. Please note that ROYAL CANIN® Diabetic cat food is not suitable for growth or for cats during gestation or lactation.

Composition

Vegetable fibres, dehydrated poultry protein, wheat gluten*, manioc (tapioca), maize gluten, hydrolysed animal proteins, wheat, maize, animal fats, beet pulp, fish oil, minerals, psyllium husks and seeds, soya oil, fructo-oligosaccharides, glucosamine from fermentation, marigold meal, hydrolysed cartilage (source of chondroitin).
