Beyaz peynir, white cheese, is the centrepiece of the Turkish breakfast, and Muratbey's Classic White Cheese brings that tradition in a ready-to-serve 300 g tub with a clear lid and a green base. Muratbey is a dairy company based in Uşak, Türkiye, and lists this cheese in its export range alongside its fresh and traditional cheeses. The producer states that its products are made in facilities certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 standards.
A slab of white cheese needs very little to become a meal. Cut it into cubes or slices and arrange it with ripe tomatoes, cucumber, black olives and a drizzle of olive oil; serve it with warm bread, simit or a boiled egg; or crumble it over a shepherd's salad (çoban salatası). It is equally useful in the kitchen, whether folded into an omelette, layered in a toasted sandwich or used as the filling for börek and pide with spinach or parsley. If you find a particular piece too salty, soak it in cold water for ten to fifteen minutes before serving.
The producer advises storing cheese in the refrigerator at +2 to +4 °C, away from light, and keeping it in its own packaging if it will not be eaten at once. After opening, keep any leftover cheese in a closed container or well wrapped, as the producer advises, so it does not lose its moisture and flavour.
