Gazi Hakiki Keçi Peyniri is a goat's milk cheese kept in brine. It is made from pasteurised goat's milk, salt, microbial rennet and lactic acid cultures, and it has 50% fat in dry matter. The brine protects the delicate aroma of the cheese, so every slice stays moist and creamy. This 800 g tin is the large family size.
Goat's cheese has a lighter, slightly tangy taste that is different from cow's or sheep's milk cheese. Serve it on a breakfast plate with tomato, cucumber and olives, crumble it over salads, or use it to fill pastries, pide and stuffed dough parcels. It also works well baked on top of casseroles and vegetable dishes, where it softens and browns.
Keep the cheese refrigerated and follow the storage and use-by instructions on the pack. After opening, keep the remaining cheese covered with brine and close the lid so it stays fresh.
