Leblebi, meaning roasted chickpeas, is one of the best-loved dry snacks in Turkish homes. Anthap's crunchy leblebi (çıtır leblebi) is the coated style: roasted chickpeas are finished with a thin, crisp coating, so every piece gives a light, crunchy and moreish bite. It is at its best next to a glass of strong Turkish tea or a cup of coffee.

Pour it straight from the pack into a small bowl, or mix it with raisins, dried apricots and other nuts for a quick snack mix. It also suits movie nights, the table when guests drop in, or a small bite between meals.
