Description

This Best Farm extra virgin olive oil comes in a 500 ml dark glass bottle with a red and green label showing olives and the words Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Zeytinyağı. Extra virgin is the highest grade of olive oil, obtained from olives by mechanical means only, and it is valued for its fruity aroma and fresh taste. Dark glass helps protect the oil from light.

In Turkish cooking, olive oil is the heart of the zeytinyağlı family of dishes such as green beans, artichokes, stuffed vine leaves and braised leeks, all of which are usually eaten cold or at room temperature. It is just as good drizzled over a tomato and cucumber salad, over white cheese at breakfast, on grilled vegetables or into a bowl of hummus, and it works well for gentle sautéing at moderate heat.

The origin and best-before date are printed on the bottle label, so please check them on your bottle. Store in a cool, dark place away from the cooker and direct sunlight, and keep the cap tightly closed after use.
