Description

Best Farm Dana Kayseri Parmak Sucuk is a Turkish-style garlic sausage (sucuk) in short "parmak" (finger) links, sold in a 320 g pack. According to the label, it is made from beef with 15% chicken and beef suet, seasoned with salt, spices and spice extract, and ripened with starter cultures. It is packed under a protective atmosphere, carries a Halal 100% logo and is labelled as produced in Bulgaria.

Sucuk is a favourite of the Turkish breakfast table. Peel off the casing first, as the label says it is not edible, then cut the sausage into thin rounds and cook them in a dry pan until lightly browned; crack a couple of eggs over them for sucuklu yumurta. Thin slices also work in a kaşarlı sucuklu tost, on homemade pide or pizza, or stirred into menemen.
