Ask Bio about this range · Salami, Pepperoni & Sausages

As soon as the mornings turn cold in Britain, the Turkish breakfast changes shape. The salad shrinks, the tea gets stronger, and a pan of sucuk and eggs appears on the hob almost every weekend. That is the season this range is made for, though sucuk on the barbecue in July has its own following. Cured and cooked meats keep well in the fridge, which makes them the easiest thing to have in reserve when the week gets busy.

Sucuk, pastirma and sliced meats

There are over 70 products in the range, drawn from Efepasa, Egeturk, Ozyorem, Destan and Aynoor. Whole rings come as Efepasa Pasa 1000g Turkish Kangal Sucuk and Egeturk 1000gr Emre Coil Sucuk, while finger-style sucuk from Ozyorem and Destan is easier to slice straight from the fridge. If you want it prepared, Efepasa Guven 200g Sliced Turkish Sucuk saves a step. Sliced salami runs from Efepasa Yore 150g Sliced Beef Salami to the peppered version and Efepasa Arzum 200g Sliced Chicken Salami. Egeturk 100gr Bahar Pastaourma is the thinly sliced cured beef for a breakfast plate, and Egeturk 400gr 24 Pcs Mini Sausages are a reliable option for children. Prices start from under £2.

Slicing, cooking and keeping

Sucuk cooks best in a cold pan brought up slowly, so the fat renders and the slices crisp instead of curling. There is no need to add oil. Cut it thin for eggs and thicker for the grill. Pastirma is not for frying: lay it over warm eggs or bread and let the heat release the cemen crust. Keep unopened rings in the fridge and, once opened, wrap the cut end tightly. Sliced packs should be finished within a few days of opening, and a whole ring freezes well if you portion it first.

Getting your order delivered

These are chilled products, so they are packed with ice-gel packs and sent by DHL Express for delivery anywhere in the UK, generally within one to two business days. Orders of £60 or more qualify for free delivery to London and mainland UK, and a flat £5.99 rate applies below that. Place your order before 12:00 Monday to Friday and it is usually dispatched the same day.

Salami, Pepperoni & Sausages — frequently asked questions

How do I place an order for chilled meats?›

Add the items to your basket and complete checkout with your delivery address. It helps to order chilled products earlier in the week so the parcel is not sitting over a weekend. Orders placed before 12:00 Monday to Friday are typically dispatched the same day.

What payment methods do you accept?›

Payment is taken through a secure checkout page that accepts standard UK debit and credit cards. The amount charged is the total shown on your order, calculated at checkout including any delivery charge, so there is nothing added afterwards.

How will I know when my parcel is on its way?›

You will receive an email with a DHL tracking number as soon as the parcel is dispatched. Chilled orders travel with ice-gel packs and normally arrive within one to two business days, so it is worth checking the tracking so someone can take the parcel in.

Who can I contact if something is wrong with my order?›

Get in touch through WhatsApp or email using the details on our contact page and include your order number. If a chilled item has arrived in poor condition, send a photo with your message and our team will look into it and come back to you.

Can I change my order after placing it?›

Contact us as quickly as possible by email or WhatsApp with your order number. If the parcel has not yet been packed we can usually help, but once a chilled order has been dispatched with DHL it is on its way and cannot be amended.
