Sütaş Süzme is a soft, smooth and mild white cheese. According to Sütaş, it is made from the milk of Sütaş Farms using ultrafiltration, a method the company says keeps the milk's proteins, calcium and other minerals in the cheese. The ingredients are simple: pasteurised cow's milk, cheese culture, rennet and table salt, with at least 45% milk fat in the dry matter.
Its creamy texture makes it an easy choice for the breakfast table, served with tomatoes, cucumber, olives and fresh bread. It can be sliced or cubed for salads, spread on bread or simit, and used as a mild filling for toasties, wraps, omelettes and savoury pastries.
According to Sütaş, 100 g of the cheese provides 218 kcal, 18 g of fat and 11 g of protein. It contains milk. Keep it refrigerated at 3-8 °C, follow the best-before date and storage advice on the pack, and check the pack for how long it keeps once opened.
