Gazi Keçi Peyniri is a brined goat's milk cheese made from pasteurised goat's milk, salt, microbial rennet and lactic acid cultures. With 50% fat in dry matter it has a soft, creamy character and the fresh, mildly tangy flavour that goat's cheese is known for. The brine keeps the cheese moist and holds on to its delicate aroma. This pack is a handy 400 g tin.
Use it wherever you would use a white cheese. On a Turkish breakfast table it goes well with tomatoes, cucumbers, olives and warm bread. Crumble it over salads, fold it into omelettes, or use it as a filling for börek and stuffed pastries. Baked on top of a dish, it melts softly and gets a golden surface.
Keep the cheese refrigerated and follow the storage and use-by instructions on the pack. Once opened, store the remaining cheese covered with its brine and keep the lid closed.
