Kaymak is Turkey's beloved clotted cream, and this rolled version is sold under the Best Farm name. According to the pack it is made from 70% sweet cream, 30% whole milk and sugar, and it is presented as a Turkish cream and milk speciality. The soft, white roll has a rich, milky sweetness and a melt-in-the-mouth texture.
The classic way to enjoy it is on a Turkish breakfast table, spread on warm simit or fresh bread with honey, jam or pekmez. It is also the traditional partner for baklava, ekmek kadayıfı and other syrupy desserts, and works well on pancakes, waffles and fresh fruit. Slice off what you need and keep the rest cold.
Store refrigerated at 2-8 °C and check the date printed on the pack. The label gives about 212 kcal and 22 g of fat per 100 g, so it is best enjoyed as a rich treat in small portions. The pack carries a halal mark.
