Description

Pasta kreması is the soft, spreadable cake cream that Turkish bakeries use for birthday cakes and yaş pasta, and this 140 g box from Başak brings it to the home kitchen as a powder mix with vanillin flavouring. You prepare it following the instructions printed on the pack, and the result is a smooth cream that sets enough to spread and pipe. The short ingredient list reads: sugar, glucose syrup, palm oil, modified potato starch, milk protein, an emulsifier, a stabiliser and vanillin flavouring.
