Öncü: A Heritage of Turkish Flavour

Few brands are as deeply woven into the Turkish kitchen as Öncü. For generations, Öncü has built its reputation on rich, sun-ripened ingredients and recipes that capture the heart of authentic Turkish and Mediterranean cooking. Whether you grew up with a jar of Öncü pepper paste always on the shelf or you're discovering it for the first time, the deep colour and concentrated flavour are instantly recognisable. At Turkish Online Market, the UK's Turkish online food and grocery market, we stock Öncü so you never have to compromise on the taste of home.

What Turkish Online Market Stocks from Öncü

Our Öncü range covers the pantry staples that every Turkish, Kurdish, Cypriot and Middle Eastern household relies on:

• Pepper paste (biber salçası) — available in mild (tatlı) and hot (acı) varieties, the cornerstone of countless stews, kebabs, soups and meze.
• Tomato paste (domates salçası) — thick, concentrated and intensely flavoured, ideal for sauces, pilaf, casseroles and slow-cooked dishes.
• Sauces and condiments — ready-to-use blends that bring instant depth to grilled meats, pasta and vegetable dishes.

Each product delivers the same consistency and reliability that has made Öncü a household name, so your recipes turn out exactly as they should every time.

How to Cook with Öncü

Öncü pepper paste is the secret behind that signature warmth in Turkish cooking. Stir a spoonful into menemen, fold it through lentil soup, or use it as the base for a rich kebab marinade. The hot variety adds a gentle kick, while the mild version brings sweetness and colour without overpowering a dish. Öncü tomato paste, meanwhile, forms the backbone of countless meals — from a simple domates soslu makarna to hearty bean stews and stuffed vegetables. A little goes a long way, which makes Öncü excellent value as well as exceptional in flavour.

Pairs Perfectly With

• Bulgur, rice and grains for pilaf and pilavs
• Pomegranate molasses (nar ekşisi) for tangy meze and salads
• Olive oil, cumin and dried mint for classic marinades
