Description

Marmarabirlik Natural Black Olives XS come in a 500 g vacuum-sealed tray, which keeps the olives compact and easy to store. The XS grade is a smaller olive, around 321 to 350 per kilogram, with a tender bite that suits both the breakfast table and cooking. The olives are prepared with salt, lactic acid and calcium chloride, with potassium sorbate as a preservative. They are made by the Marmarabirlik cooperative union in Bursa, Türkiye.

Small black olives are the classic companion to a Turkish breakfast: lay them next to white cheese, sliced tomato, cucumber and fresh bread. They also work chopped into salads, scattered over pizza and pide, mixed into pasta, bulgur pilaf or savoury bakes, or served in a small bowl as part of a meze spread. A splash of olive oil, a little garlic and lemon peel turns them into a simple marinated snack.

Keep the vacuum pack in a cool, dry place. After opening, transfer the olives to a clean container with a lid, keep them in the fridge and use them within a few days. The olives contain stones.
