Balparmak Süzme Çam Balı comes in a 350 g squeezable bottle with a drip-free snap cap, which makes it easy to portion over breakfast without sticky jars and spoons. The label reads "Yerkesik ve Marmaris'ten", and the producer describes the honey as a natural secretion honey from pine forests, made by bees from the sweet excretions of insects living on pine trees rather than from flower nectar.
The result is a dark amber honey with a dense texture and a soft, resinous flavour. It is lovely drizzled over strained yoghurt or warm bread, served with cheese, or stirred into tea and warm milk. Because the bottle is squeezable, it is also handy for pancakes, granola and porridge, and for a spoonful in a dressing.
Honey is not suitable for babies under one year old. Keep the cap closed and the bottle in a cool, dry cupboard, away from heat and sunlight.
