Balparmak Süzme Çiçek Balı (Yayla Balı) comes in a 350 g squeezable bottle with a drip-free snap cap. The producer says it is gathered mainly from honeys of the plateaus of Eastern and South-eastern Anatolia at an average of about 1,000 metres, where the rich plant cover gives a fresh, distinctive flavour. Its light, balanced character suits many tastes.

This is an easy honey for everyday use. Squeeze it onto toast with butter, over strained yoghurt, porridge or granola, into tea or warm milk, or use it as a gentler alternative to refined sugar in baking and dressings. Balparmak lists around 304 kcal per 100 g, so a small spoonful goes a long way.
