Eti Gong Orijinal Lezzet is the plain version of Eti's corn and rice cake. Corn and rice are popped and pressed into a round disc that is light, airy and very crunchy, and the 64 g pack holds two cakes. The label keeps the recipe short: corn at 47 percent and rice at 43 percent, with wheat, salt, oats, a little palm oil and sunflower lecithin. The wrapper calls it the original taste ("Orijinal Lezzet").
Its flavour is simple and toasty, which makes it a versatile snack. Many people eat it straight from the pack in the afternoon or take it to work, while others top it with cream cheese, tahini and grape molasses, or white cheese and sliced cucumber, and eat it like a small open sandwich. Broken into pieces, it also works as a crunchy topping for yoghurt or soup. Eti's slogan for the range is all about beating hunger whenever it strikes.
Keep the pack in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and close the wrapper after opening so the cakes stay crisp. The ingredient list includes wheat and oats; please read the printed allergen and trace information on your pack, especially if you have an allergy.
