Description

Eti Çikolatalı Gofret is one of the classic chocolate wafers of Turkish confectionery. Thin, crisp wafer sheets are layered with hazelnut cream and finished with a coating of milk chocolate, and the red wrapper carries the "Hoşbeş çıtırlığı" line, a nod to the crunch of Eti's Hoşbeş wafers. According to the label, the hazelnut cream makes up 46.9% of the bar, with hazelnut puree listed at 10.5%, while the milk chocolate coating accounts for 33% and the wafer sheets for 20.1%.

Each bar is wrapped individually and weighs 34 g, so it is easy to keep one in a bag or a desk drawer. It goes well with a glass of Turkish tea or a short coffee, and a bar cut into chunks makes a crunchy topping for vanilla ice cream, a bowl of yoghurt or a simple layered pudding.
