Description

Albeni Kurabiyem is a variation on Ülker's well-known Albeni, built on a kurabiye-style biscuit (kurabiye is the Turkish word for cookie). The cross-section shown on the wrapper has three clear layers: a biscuit base, a layer of caramel and an outer coating of milk chocolate. The ingredient list includes wheat flour, glucose syrup, whole milk powder, cocoa mass and cocoa butter, along with sweetened condensed semi-skimmed milk. The pack contains 170g.

It is a natural partner for tea. In Turkey, a plate of kurabiye and chocolate biscuits next to a tulip glass of black tea is a common way to welcome visitors, and Albeni Kurabiyem fits easily into that routine.
