Description

Tombul Sebzeli Ev Tarhanası takes the traditional Turkish tarhana, a fermented mix of flour and yogurt dried into a soup powder, and adds a garden of vegetables to it. The manufacturer's ingredient list names whole wheat flour, red pepper, yogurt, mint, onion, carrot, broccoli, leek, celery, artichoke, tomato, sourdough and sea salt, and the pack carries the word “katkısız”, meaning additive-free.

Stir a tablespoon of tarhana into a cup of water or stock, bring it to the boil and simmer for a few minutes, stirring, until the soup thickens.
