Bodrum Basmati Rice is a long-grain aromatic rice that cooks into slender, light grains which stay separate instead of clumping together.
Basmati is the natural partner for biryani and curries, and it also makes a light, fragrant pilav to serve beside stews, grilled meat and kebabs, or to use in stuffed vegetables. Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clearer, then cook it following the directions on the pack. A short soak of about 20 minutes beforehand helps the grains stay long and unbroken, and letting the covered pot rest for ten minutes before fluffing with a fork gives the best texture.
Keep the bag in a cool, dry place, and once opened move the rice to an airtight container. Please check the pack label for ingredients, allergen information and nutrition values.
