Description

The Ali Baba Traditional Turkish Coffee Set with Porcelain Cups combines 100 g of Turkish coffee with two porcelain cups. Small porcelain cups are the classic way to serve Turkish coffee: they hold just enough for a few slow sips and show off the foam on top. The set makes an easy gift for a housewarming, a holiday or anyone who enjoys an unhurried coffee break.

Turkish coffee is brewed in a cezve, the small long-handled pot; a cezve is not listed among the contents of this set. Put cold water and coffee in the cezve, about one heaped teaspoon per small cup or the amount shown on the coffee pack, and warm it over low heat. When the foam rises, take the pot off the heat, pour gently so each cup gets some foam, and let the grounds settle before drinking. Serve with a glass of water and a piece of lokum or a small sweet.
