A weekly shop for a household in Kirkwall or Wick might include a bag of bulgur, a tub of Turkish yoghurt, a jar of olives, some flatbreads and a box of Turkish delight for the weekend. Turkish Online Market delivers this kind of Turkish and Mediterranean weekly shop to the KW postcode area, right across the far north of Scotland.
Towns and postcodes in the KW area
KW covers postcode districts KW1 to KW17, taking in post towns such as Kirkwall, Wick, Lybster, Latheron, Dunbeath, Berriedale, Helmsdale, Brora, Golspie, Kinbrace, Halkirk and Forsinard. There is no dedicated city page for these towns yet, and there is no local shop, depot or driver based in the area; every order is dispatched by DHL Express from further south.
Delivery facts for the KW area
Because KW is part of the Highlands and Islands, delivery here is calculated by weight rather than our usual free-over-£60 offer, so the cost reflects the size of your order rather than a flat threshold. Orders placed before 12:00 on a weekday are typically dispatched the same day, and DHL still delivers in 1-2 business days once on its way. Chilled products such as yoghurt or cheese travel with ice-gel packs, and a tracking number is emailed to you as soon as your order is sent.
A practical tip
Given weight-based pricing, it makes sense to plan a fuller weekly shop in one order rather than several small ones, combining pantry basics like bulgur and legumes with fresh or chilled items in the same delivery to Kirkwall, Wick or anywhere else in the KW area.
