Nuh'un Ankara Spaghetti is a long, thin dried pasta in a 500 g pack. The maker lists a single ingredient, durum wheat semolina, so it contains wheat (gluten); it is produced in Türkiye. This is the classic spaghetti, not the wholewheat version.
In a Turkish kitchen spaghetti is a quick, filling base for many family dinners. It goes well with a tomato and pepper paste sauce, with minced meat and onion, with garlic yoghurt and a spoon of melted butter, or simply tossed with olive oil, garlic and a pinch of chilli flakes. Cook the strands in plenty of boiling, salted water, stir during the first minutes so they do not stick, follow the cooking time printed on the pack, then drain and add the sauce straight away.
Keep the pack in a dry, cool place away from sunlight and strong smells, and close it well after opening. Dry pasta keeps well in the cupboard, so a few packs are handy for busy weeknights and unexpected guests.
