Description

Paşa Kangal Sucuk is a ring-shaped Turkish garlic sausage from Efepaşa, made by Egetürk in Cologne. The pack is marked 'Az Acılı', meaning mildly spiced, states 100% beef and carries a halal seal; the 1 kg tray holds three rings. The manufacturer calls it 'the pasha of garlic sausages' and says it is given plenty of time to ripen using a traditional drying technique. The label lists beef, beef fat, salt and spices, plus dextrose, maltodextrin, antioxidant E301, flavour enhancer E621, preservative E250, citric acid, spice extract and a ripening culture, and the manufacturer states that the product is gluten-free and lactose-free.
