Chilled items & warm-weather notice
We ship chilled (perishable) foods with ice-gel packs, kept refrigerated. In warm weather, light oil sweating on cured products such as sucuk/pastırma, or softening of cheese, is normal and not a sign of spoilage — it returns to normal once chilled. Please refrigerate items immediately on delivery and be available to receive your order on the delivery day.
Perishable foods are exempt from the 14-day change-of-mind return; your statutory rights for genuine quality or safety issues remain unaffected.
Wrap your hands around a cosy, fragrant mug of citrus comfort with Bodrum Orange Flavoured Instant Hot Drink 300 G, a nostalgic favourite available from Turkish Online Market UK, the Turkish Online Grocery & Food Supermarket UK. Known affectionately in Türkiye as oralet, this instant powdered hot drink dissolves in moments to create a warming, golden-orange beverage that has cheered up Turkish winters for generations. It is the drink of snowy afternoons, school breaks and family gatherings, offering a sweet, fruity hug in a cup whenever you need a little warmth.
Once stirred into hot water, this orange-flavoured drink releases a bright, zesty citrus aroma and a smooth, sweet taste reminiscent of freshly squeezed oranges. The texture is light and clear, easy to sip and perfectly comforting. The flavour is cheerful and familiar, instantly transporting many to childhood memories of cold evenings made cosy with a steaming mug.
Simply add a spoonful or two of the powder to a mug, pour over freshly boiled water and stir until fully dissolved. Adjust the strength to your taste by adding more or less powder. Serve piping hot on chilly afternoons, after coming in from the cold, or as a soothing evening drink before bed. It is a wonderful welcome for guests and a cheerful treat for children, offering a familiar Turkish flavour the whole family can share.
Pair this warming orange drink with buttery biscuits, sweet pastries or a slice of cake for a comforting afternoon break. For a special touch, stir in a cinnamon stick or a few cloves while it is hot to create a fragrant, spiced winter warmer. It also makes a delightful accompaniment to a tray of mixed Turkish treats when friends drop by, filling the home with a bright citrus aroma.
Keep the package tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight. Sealing it well after each use helps the powder stay free-flowing and preserves its fresh orange flavour.
