Description

This is the pomegranate version of Anthap's fitil sucuk, a long, thin, sausage-shaped Turkish sweet. Its pack names it a sausage Turkish delight with pistachio and pomegranate: a deep red, chewy outer layer is wrapped around a line of pistachios, so each slice shows green nuts set in red. It comes in a 300 g window pack.

Slice it into thin rounds and offer it with black tea or Turkish coffee, or after a family meal. A few pieces placed beside dried fruit and nuts make an easy sweet plate for guests, and the bright red slices look good on a festive table or a weekend breakfast spread.
