Gazi Altın Kaymak is a Turkish-style clotted cream sold in a 200 g tub. Kaymak is traditionally made from cow's milk: after the milk is heated, the fat-rich layer that forms on top is gradually skimmed off and layered, which gives kaymak its smooth, creamy texture and clean, mild taste. The manufacturer lists this 200 g cream product at around 23% fat, made from cream with thickeners.
Kaymak is a classic on the Turkish breakfast table, spread on fresh bread or simit and finished with honey, jam or pekmez. It is also served with desserts such as baklava, künefe, ayva tatlısı (quince dessert) and ekmek kadayıfı, where its cool richness balances the sweet syrup. A spoonful can also enrich sauces and fillings.
Keep the tub refrigerated and follow the storage and use-by instructions on the pack. After opening, close the lid tightly, keep it cold and use it within the time shown on the label.
