Description

This Dr. Oetker chocolate and hazelnut pudding comes as a dry powder mix in a single sachet. It is made with sugar, starch and reduced-fat cocoa, with small hazelnut and dark chocolate pieces for texture. Please note that the manufacturer lists hazelnut as an ingredient and warns that the product may contain soya, milk and tree nuts.

Pour 500 ml of milk into a saucepan, add the whole sachet and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. Once it starts to boil, turn the heat down and keep stirring for another two to three minutes, then spoon it into bowls and serve cold. In Turkish homes this kind of pudding is a quick weeknight dessert and a favourite with children. For a more festive version, layer it in glasses with sliced banana or crushed biscuits, or let it cool slightly and use it as a filling for a tart base.
