Bodrum Popping Corn (Patlayan Mısır) is a straightforward pack of dried popcorn kernels, sold in a 1 kg clear bag from the brand's Farm Selection range. Its only ingredient is corn, and the brand's supplier specification describes the product as gluten free. Because these are raw kernels rather than ready-made popcorn, you decide the flavour and how much oil or salt goes in.
The classic stovetop method is simple: heat a little neutral oil in a deep pan with a lid, add a few kernels and wait for them to pop, then tip in a handful more, cover, and shake the pan gently until the popping slows down. An air popper or a microwave-safe popping bowl also works, with no oil at all. Season straight after popping, while the popcorn is still warm: a pinch of salt, a drizzle of melted butter, cinnamon sugar or a few chilli flakes are all easy options, and a big bowl of freshly popped corn is a simple snack to share at home.
A 1 kg bag is enough for many batches. Keep it tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and reseal it after each use so the kernels do not dry out.
